Terms of Service

1. About these terms

UtsavOS (“UtsavOS”, “we”, “us”, the “Platform”) operates a technology marketplace and celebration operating system. We connect Families, Vendors, Event Planners, Temples and Communities; we are an intermediary and not a party to the underlying service contracts unless expressly stated.

By creating an account or using UtsavOS you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the role-specific agreement that applies to you. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Our role as a platform

UtsavOS provides software to discover, plan, transact and coordinate celebrations. We are a neutral intermediary. Contracts for services, venues, donations or sponsorships are formed directly between the relevant users. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any user.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use UtsavOS lawfully and in line with the Acceptable Use Policy, Content Policy and Prohibited Activities Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Fees, payments & taxes

Platform and service fees are disclosed before you commit. Sellers are responsible for their own pricing, invoicing and taxes. See the Payment Terms and Escrow & Settlement Policy.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UtsavOS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Suspension & termination

We may restrict, suspend or close accounts for breach, fraud, safety risk or legal requirement. You may close your account at any time, subject to settling open obligations.

8. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms with notice; continued use means acceptance. These Terms are governed by applicable law in our operating jurisdiction, with disputes handled per the Dispute Resolution Policy.

This document forms part of the UtsavOS platform policies. It is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice. Where a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
