Frequently asked questions

Is UtsavOS a party to my booking or contract?

No. UtsavOS is a technology platform that connects families, vendors, planners, temples and communities. The contract for any service is between you and the provider. We facilitate discovery, agreements, payments, records and dispute resolution.

How is my payment protected?

Marketplace payments are held by a regulated payment partner in escrow and released to the provider against agreed milestones or on confirmed completion. If a dispute arises before release, funds stay held pending the outcome.

How do I exercise my privacy rights?

You can view consents, export your data, and request rectification or erasure from your Privacy & Data Rights dashboard. Requests are handled within the statutory window for your jurisdiction (DPDP / GDPR / CCPA).

How do I raise a dispute or grievance?

Use “Raise a dispute” in this Trust Center, or contact the Grievance Officer. You will receive a case reference, can upload evidence, and can track status to a documented outcome.

What happens if content infringes my copyright or trademark?

Submit a notice via the Copyright/DMCA-style procedure. Valid notices lead to review and removal of infringing content, with a counter-notice path for the uploader.

Which laws apply?

We design for compliance with applicable privacy, consumer-protection, electronic-transaction and taxation laws in the jurisdictions we operate in, including India’s DPDP Act and IT Rules, with GDPR/CCPA handling for relevant residents.
