Marketplace Terms
Rules for buying and selling services through the UtsavOS marketplace.
1. The marketplace
The marketplace lets Families and Planners raise requirements (RFQs), receive quotations from Vendors, compare offers, and award contracts. UtsavOS facilitates this flow but the resulting contract is between the buyer and the awarded seller.
2. Quotations & contracts
A quotation is a binding offer from a seller for the stated scope, price and validity. Awarding a quotation forms a contract on those terms plus any agreed addenda. Scope changes must be agreed in writing through the platform.
3. Platform commission
UtsavOS charges a commission or service fee on facilitated transactions, disclosed before award. Commissions are calculated on the contract value and deducted at settlement.
4. Best-fit & ranking
Ranking signals such as price, trust score and ratings help buyers compare offers. Rankings are decision-support only; the buyer chooses the seller.
5. Delivery & acceptance
Sellers must deliver the awarded scope. Buyers confirm completion, which triggers settlement. Disputes pause settlement pending resolution.
